How do you measure progress/success? There are many different ways and none of them are right or wrong some just may work better than others for you and for me! One really effective way of knowing how your body responds to the food you’ve eaten is to test your blood sugar about 2 hours after you’ve eaten said food. In an individual with a normal healthy insulin response that number should be under 140 or even more optimally under 120 at that 2 hour mark. Learn more about this in @dasrobbwolf ‘s book Wired to Eat! Another blood test you can do with the same meter (pictured above) is a ketone test! Ketogenic diets have been increasing in popularity lately and for good reason!
